3D Animation Group Project
Beyond the Light - Group Project 3D animation
This group project consisted of teamwork and clear communication. Each member had the responsibility to create an 'effect' or use motion capture for this animation, my effect was the candle flames.
The animation also required a storyline in order for the final piece to make sense, so we drafted a fight scene in a street. This had some issues in the concept; after filming motion capture for the characters fighting there were issues in the motion rigs which meant we had to scrap the motion capture effect. We also needed to simplify the concept as this project was due around the time of our dissertations.
We adapted a bedroom scene model that we already had access to and downloaded a character from motionrigs.com. Using these two we created a simplified scene where a character is chilling in his room and objects start to morph within the room.

Creative Business Group Project
This project required a group of us to create and develop a creative business. My group decided to make a games studio that specialises in virtual reality technology—THe project required each member to tackle a section that will develop the business from branding to competitors.
